Who is Chapel Pike Wesleyan?

Our Beliefs

Our Pathway to Leadership

Our Core Values

Statement of Beliefs

The sole basis of our belief is the Bible. The Scripture in its entirety is composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which originated with God, and was given through the instrumentality of many different chosen authors.

We believe that there is one living, true, holy God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus was miraculously conceived, born of a virgin, and sinless in life. Christ was fully man and fully God, walked our earth, lived a life of obedience, suffered at the hands of men, and died on the cross. He fully atoned for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected and enthroned at God’s right hand as our Intercessor.

Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith. Each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and thereafter continuously grow in the knowledge of God.

Our Core Values

Our Pathway to Leadership

Our Core Values

Word:

Core value number one is the foundation for everything else we do at Chapel Pike. The Word of God (the Bible) is the foundation of all we teach and believe. It may be tough to understand and fully comprehend at times, but as a community we can do our best.

Worship:

Core value number two leads us to worship. Worship through song, Word, community, and service is foundational to our journey with Jesus.

World:

We believe that the hope of the world is the local church. The local church is made up of people trying to follow Jesus. Chapel Pike believes firmly in supporting global missions around the world to spread the gospel and plant more local churches all over the world.

Walk:

Chapel Pike believes that we are a part of our local communities. We walk WITH our communities and the people of our communities. We strive to be a place in our community where people can find hope.

Win:

For Chapel Pike a WIN is.......to become a person who journeys to be like Christ and helps other become people who strive to be like Christ. We call it: disciples who help others become disciples. A disciple if someone who tries each day to become more like Jesus.
